Happy Mothers' Day!

To celebrate all the wonderful mothers out there, I would just like to share a quote from a book I am currently reading. I'll post a review on it soon, but for now I want to take everyone's attention to our mothers.

Women in general were taken for granted in old times, but that has somehow changed today. Although some still think men are the stronger creatures, it is proven otherwise. I will not daly to give evidence and prove that women are stronger because time and time again it has been proven. And if you play the game of chess, you will realize this one way or another. I realized this as I read this book. And my appreciation for my fellow females has grown greater. Together with it, my appreciation for mothers and my respect for them has increased by a multitude of levels.

Women are strong, but it is the mothers who are she strongest women of all. They juggle their time and are able to do so perfectly. They balance strength and elegance with cunning wit that even some men are at awe that they are mothers. Some men even take more pride in knowing that their mothers are the one who give them direction in life. They try to make everything as perfect as can be for their children, their husbands, their family and their friends.

How can they manage it? They are mothers, and I guess becoming one brings with it the innate traits of becoming the greatest woman that you can be.

"All women are creatures of divided nature" is what the book says of a man who had trouble understanding his wife. He had trouble because he could not understand why she did the things she did, when they wee only to keep his and her own vows alive. So you see, where men cannot see beyond what they think, women act for them both. And these women are the mothers who love their families unconditionally.

So the next time you see your mother, give her a hug and thank her for giving you what she could because she probably went through hell and back to give them to you. And tell her happy mothers' day not only today, but every single day.

Happy Mothers' Day to all you lovely moms and to all mothers to be!

PS

Women lose three years of their life after giving birth. So thank your mothers for the sacrifice they made for you.

"I run into her arms and cry as if I were her daughter of ten years old.
She holds me and rocks me as if I were still her little girl..."
